Ucka is the highest and most wooded Istrian mountains (1396 m) from the top provides a breathtaking view of the whole of Istria, Kvarner, Gorski Kotar and Velebit. With more developed Mediterranean vegetation which is a forest of chestnut, oak and beech and the time Učka always attracted many hikers and adventurers. At the beginning of the 80's through Ucka road tunnel was dug for quick connection of Istria and Rijeka. Učka placed on top of various ugostiteljko and tourist facilities.
