Stancija Zavod present two beautiful villas for rent in Croatia "Casa dei Ladri" for 4 persons and "Pod Dubon for 2 people.

Stancija Zavod is holding area for more than 2 acres, surrounded by woods, meadows and vineyards. Neighbors were almost one kilometer away so you have  freedom in our village. This is the place in Istria where you can forget the everyday way of life and where to stay can taste good food, smell the nature and start new way of holliday with people around you.

The area is ideal for cycling and walking. Sea os half-hour drive. Because of central location, the Stancija Zavod is the perfect starting point for exploring Istria by car. The property is well maintained nature park with many mature oaks that give beautiful shade.

During the restoration we kept the Istrian style and use  local crafts and old material. Furthermore, the use of insulation, solar, underfloor heating, central stove and an organic garden that justice zadovoljva current environmental standards.

We live all year on the property, therefore at your disposal.

 "Casa dei Ladri" is spacious holiday accommodation for 4 people.

Villa "Casa dei Ladri" is named after the nickname Stancija Department villa (Casa dei Ladri: House of Thieves). By the end of 1930 years were active in Istria cattle thieves who stole livestock (sheep, goats and cows) to the north of the country. Then the cattle led to the Lim channel then transported by boat to Italy. "Department" was one of the central station in the chain from where the cattle were kept hidden during the day, that night went to the next location. High walls Stancija Department are still witnesses to the time that cattle were concealed from the curious eyes of villagers.

 Villa Pod Dubon

Villa "Dubon Under" was named after the magnificent, old oak tree which stands right next to it and will take care of the lovely atmosphere and the maintenance of shade during the summer.
"Pod Dubon" means the old Istrian language "under the oak." Oak has a special meaning in Istria. Oak in Istria need little water and was used mostly for construction and heating.
More sense under the proverbial Dubon in a old Istrian language is a "safe house", an important concept in the region for a long time to suffer the consequences of foreign affairs and often brutal domination.
