Beram is one of the village with the longest continuity of population in Istria. Research the prehistoric necropolis on the southern slopes of Beram showed with certainty that a settlement existed here even in the Iron Age.

Useful notes
For organized visits by bus:
Bus can be reached until the church Sv. Mary on Škriljinah where paved turnstile. Winding road from Podberma Beram to be in the case of larger buses pose a problem less experienced drivers, especially when you return. Consult before you go with your driver.
On arrival at the bus Beram's best to turn the bus on the first paved road to the left (near the cross) and the fit when you do not join ključarica.

For visitors who use the regular bus lines:
In Podbermu barn all the buses on lines Pazin - Pazin Poreč - Motovun. Timetable of buses you can find here. Price bus tickets in one direction from Pazin to Beram is 9:00 KN, and Porec to Beram 22:00 KN.

Beram Pazin and are connected by a circular walking path marked in red - white mountain markings. In Pazin trail begins at the Tourist Office, the Castle, across the bridge Pazin's pit, and the plant turns right and uphill road to Gortanovog hill. Gortanovog hill after one branching path leads left to Beram, a second circuit continues along the ridge of a hill to the village of Dusan and returns to Pazin.

If the Beram move afoot to Pazin, you can choose short and long run. Shorter route begins in the valley between Beram Škriljinah and the track time which turns through the forest on the hill Gortanov. Long run, you can follow the dirt road that begins at the church of Sv. Mary on Škriljinah and gently rises to Findrlovog hill through the village and you Dusani leads to Pazin.
